The Forge: ATL Opens Its Doors

Our first residency launched in Atlanta, convening educators, technologists, and community leaders to imagine the future of tech together.

On March 9, The Forge hosted its opening event at North Star AI Labs inside Georgia Tech's Advanced Technology Development Center, convening some of Atlanta's leading educators, technologists, and community leaders.

The evening featured a panel with Rep. Kim Schofield, technology and social impact strategist Darrell Booker, and professional basketball player Ramón Clemente — a conversation about who gets to shape the future of technology, and how.

The Forge: ATL now offers free programming two days a week through August 2026, serving K-12 students and adults seeking pathways into tech-driven careers.
