Future Cod3rs Camp: BCC Partners with Holberton to Bring Coding & Leadership to Youth in Puerto Rico

This June, Beyond Code Collective is partnering with Holberton Coding School to offer the Future Cod3rs Camp — a two-week, full-day coding and leadership program for youth ages 10–14 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The camp runs June 15–26, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM at Holberton Coding School (1550 PR-25, San Juan, PR 00909). Instruction is in Spanish, lunch and snacks are provided, and scholarships are available.

This builds on BCC's growing impact in Puerto Rico. Our inaugural 2025 summer camp, hosted at Atlantic University in partnership with Vimenti School, saw students in grades 6–7 complete projects in animation, game design, photography, cinematography, esports, and cybersecurity.

Alongside that camp, BCC hosted Build a Beat — a community event drawing 100 attendees and professionals from Puerto Rico's tech, music, and education sectors. The event was covered by El Nuevo Día, Metro PR, and other major local outlets, and deepened BCC's partnerships with Atlantic University, El Beatdown, DDEC, government leadership, and local employers.

In March 2026, BCC also led a workshop for seventh-grade students at Vimenti School in celebration of Women's History Month. Students learned about women in STEM and coded a virtual gratitude card for inspiring women in their lives using block coding on the Scratch platform.
